La Mirada~If you live in La Mirada, the day the street-sweeper visits your neighborhood will be changing beginning July 1^st.

Due to the contract with La Mirada's new trash hauler, EDCO Disposal Corporation, these changes have been necessitated.

The new agreement expands the collection of refuse, recycling and green waste from two days per week (Monday and Tuesday) to five days per week (Monday through Friday).

This expanded collection schedule will require a change to the city's current street sweeping schedule.

Also beginning around July 1^st, new signage reflecting the changes will be installed in La Mirada, ending by August 1^st. During this 30-day period, violators of the new hours will be notified, but not cited. This grace period will expire August 1^st.
